Building Home Base

Getting the Word Out

My primary role on AIDN is UX/UI and Product Design. However, as is common in startup environments, we sometimes wear more than one hat. I used my skills and experience in marketing, design, and development to spin up this marketing site.

The aesthetics of the marketing site build off the brand of AIDN. The overall marketing for AI-related materials was very cold and robotic. I wanted to prioritize the usefulness of AI for people while highlighting the technology itself.

The marketing site needed to serve multiple purposes: attract potential customers, communicate the value proposition clearly, and provide a professional online presence for the startup.

Laying the Foundation

Technical Implementation

A wizard on our devOps team recommended I try out HUGO site generator for this project. I was exceedingly impressed with the simplicity, performance, and extensibility. HUGO allowed me to create a custom theme while maintaining the speed and reliability needed for a modern marketing site.

I was able to create an AIDN theme and pair it with our product design system, ensuring visual consistency between the marketing site and the actual product interface.

The site serves as both a marketing tool and a technical demonstration of AIDN's design thinking and attention to user experience.
